1. General Shipping Information

At Wohn & Haus, we aim to deliver your orders safely, efficiently and on time. This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped and delivered, including shipping methods, costs and delivery times.

By placing an order on www.wohnundhaus.de, you agree to the terms described in this Shipping Policy.


2. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to:

  • Germany

  • European Union countries

  • Selected international destinations

3. Order Processing Time

All orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

  • Orders are usually processed within 1–3 business days

  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day

  • During peak seasons or promotional periods, processing times may be slightly longer

You will receive an order confirmation email once your order has been placed and a shipping confirmation email once your order has been dispatched.


4. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times begin after the order has been shipped, not when it is placed.

Germany

  • Standard Shipping: 2–5 business days

  • Express Shipping (if available): 1–2 business days

European Union

  • Standard Shipping: 5–10 business days

International Shipping

  • Standard International Shipping: 7–21 business days (depending on destination)

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, customs clearance or external factors beyond our control.


5. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on:

  • Delivery destination

  • Order weight and size

  • Selected shipping method

Important Notes:

  • Shipping fees are displayed before payment

  • Promotional free shipping offers may apply and will be clearly indicated

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable, except where required by law


6. Large & Furniture Items

Due to their size and weight, some furniture and large items may require:

  • Special handling

  • Freight shipping

  • Extended delivery times

For these items:

  • Delivery times may range from 7–15 business days

  • Additional shipping fees may apply and will be shown at checkout

  • Delivery may be made curbside unless otherwise specified


7. Order Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email.

You can track your shipment:

  • Through the carrier’s website

  • Via your customer account (if applicable)

Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become active.


8. Customs, Duties & Taxes (International Orders)

For orders shipped outside the European Union:

  • Customs duties, taxes and import fees may apply

  • These charges are the customer’s responsibility

  • Wohn & Haus is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance


9. Incorrect Address & Failed Delivery

Please ensure that your shipping address is complete and accurate.

  • Wohn & Haus is not responsible for delays or losses due to incorrect addresses

  • Orders returned due to failed delivery may incur additional shipping costs

  • Reshipping fees may apply


10. Damaged or Lost Shipments

Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Provide your order number and clear photos of the damage

We will arrange a replacement or refund according to our Return Policy.

Lost Shipments

If your order appears to be lost:

  • Contact us as soon as possible

  • We will investigate with the carrier and assist you accordingly


11. Partial Shipments

In some cases, your order may be shipped in multiple packages due to:

  • Item availability

  • Size or weight differences

If this occurs, you will receive separate tracking information for each shipment.


12. Delays Beyond Our Control

While we do our best to meet estimated delivery times, delays may occur due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Carrier disruptions

  • Customs processing

  • High demand periods

Wohn & Haus cannot be held responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers or unforeseen circumstances.


13. Order Cancellation Before Shipping

If you wish to cancel your order:

  • Orders can only be cancelled before shipment

  • Once shipped, the order must follow the standard return process
